Accepting Christ as your savior

Facts we must know:
1. The fact that man is a fallen creature: Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12
2. The fact that man's understanding is darkened, being alienated from the life of God: Ephesians 4:18
3. The fact that man's heart is stubbornly steeled against God so that he “will not” come to Christ John 5:39, 40
4. The fact that by nature the sinner’s “carnal mind” is “enmity against God: Romans 8:7
5. The fact that nothing but Divine power operating within man can overcome this enmity. The salvation of any sinner is a matter of “the operation of GodColossians 2:12
If the above statements are indeed true then the following statements are untrue because we cannot in and of ourselves do them:
a. “Accept Christ as your personal Saviour
b. “Give your heart to Jesus
c. “Take Jesus as your Saviour
d. “Let Jesus into your heart
those who are slaves of Satan and captives of the Devil, everyone who has not accepted Christ, could not do on their own what is necessary to be saved! It is a divinely inspired event initiated by God!
A spiritual kingdom requires a spiritual nature
The natural man must be regenerated (born again)
until Divine power overcomes his innate enmity and makes him willing to come to Christ, man will remain lost.
Sin separates you from God. God is Holy and sin forms a barrier between you and God: Romans 3:23
You can't save yourself. There's nothing you can do in terms of deeds to bridge the gap between you and God. You can't earn God's salvation: Romans 4:4, 5
God sent His Son Jesus to remove the sin barrier. Only Jesus Christ can bridge the gap between you and God: Romans 5:8
Jesus died for your sins, taking your punishment on Himself. God did for you in Jesus Christ what you couldn't do for yourself.
We are talking about a radical, revolutionary, lasting, a miracle, the result of the supernatural operation of God. “Salvation is of the Lord” Jonah 2:9
Of the Lord from beginning to end.
Question: What must I do to experience salvation; we will address that in part two.

Prayer: Dear God, let us prayerfully search the Scripture that we may see your face. Help us to seek and do your will that you may be glorified in our lives. We give you all the praise all the honor all the glory for what is accomplished here. In Christ's magnificent name we pray, AMEN!
